How To Be Macho

Should you become interested in the idea of practising machismo you must learn to adopt seven definite stances.

  Macho means being a minimalist. Putting minimum effort into your relationships. In fact, the more macho you are the less effort you should put into people. After all, the less you do, the less you are going to be criticised for.

  Macho means being secretly very complex but holding up the ideal of the simple straightforward character from the bush.

  Machos reject everything as a matter of course. "Nah." No matter what anyone says, machos have to reject it. "No way." How could you not reject it? You're macho. "It's just not on."

  It's not macho to notice things about other people. Being macho means you only notice things about race horses.

  Machos never argue their point. People who argue, might lose. Machos never lose. Machos never win either but that's all right because they're already macho.

  Thinking is definitely not macho.

  In Australia both men and women are macho.
